Etienne started his career as an equity analyst at Melville Douglas Investment Management. During his time at Melville Douglas, Etienne co-managed the Melville Douglas Global Equity Fund, a Morningstar award-winning, concentrated global equity fund with top decile performance over multiple years. Etienne holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. Etienne joined AIM in June 2019 to implement the long-only, quality focused investment process and philosophy underpinning the AIM Global High Conviction Fund.
